Copper vessels have traditionally been used in various cultures for storing and drinking water.

The distinctive copper mug is also associated with the famous Moscow Mule cocktail. However, with cocktails and other beverages containing acidic ingredients, prolonged contact with unlined copper should be avoided.

For everyday use, an unlined copper mug is recommended for drinking water and non-acidic beverages. Do not store fruit juices, beverages containing lemon or lime, or other acidic liquids in the mug for extended periods.
